Watch Repair

When you’ve checked your watch has it been 12:00 all day? You may need a battery or perhaps your watch needs repair services. We’ll check and replace the watch battery but if it’s in need of repair we’ll be happy to provide the service.

Our watchmaker has over 40 years of experience. He’s proficient in the repair of nearly all watch designs. He will create an estimate for all repairs. We’ll call you for your approval of the estimate.

Appraisals

Les Crago Jeweler’s owner, Stephen Crago, is a GIA Graduate Gemologist. Having received GIA’s (The Gemological Institute of America) highest degree of certification in gemology. Stephen also completed coursework to become a Certified Jewelry Insurance Appraiser.

Using his knowledge, experience and tools of the trade Stephen will evaluate the current replacement value of your jewelry. He will provide a written appraisal and photographs. You will receive a copy for your files and a copy for the insurance company. Stephen also provides appraisals for estate purposes as well.

Remember that every insurance company’s appraisal update requirements are different. Most,

however, require updates every five years. Also, jewelry is not covered by most companies on

your homeowner or rental insurance. Jewelry must be appraised and insured on a separate

rider.

The cost of appraisals is based on the time it takes to complete.
